I have a day class tomorrow in 'Holiday German', so you can expect a riveting post about booking hotels and buying cheese in German at some point soon. Hopefully I'll be able to finish off one or more sewing projects on Sunday so I can post something interesting, and get out of this sewing rut I seem to be in.
Other fun things today include a pledge to stop spending money on myself for Lent. Have a look at Midnight Maniac's blog for details!
I have other, exciting news to post this weekend so do stay tuned!
I'm so glad you signed up for the "Do without" challenge. I need someone with the same goal as me for moral support. It will be a trying time. Especially if the weather warms. I'd like nothing more than to add some lightweight-frilly-vintage frocks to my collection. I'll be looking forward to April 23!

I really, really love that skirt you made!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely, that skirt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh and good luck with the German. I only ever got as far as being able to order a return ticket to Munich and a cheese sandwich at the station. The utter humiliating shame of it is my mother is German!
Great oufit, loving the skirt!!! X
ReplyDeleteLove that look- the beret sets it off perfectly!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab outfit! Especially the skirt :)
